The rain commenced on the evening of Thursday the 23rd ult., but cleared' up for Good Friday and Saturday.. On . IS a Weekly newspaper published, every Saturday at the office, Sheridan street, Gundagai and forwarded by that days mail to various parts of the colony. TERMS               Subscriptions 1s 6d per quarter or 1s6d less if paid in advance- that is if paid anytime within the first month of the quarter, but subscribers who require their paper posted will be charged 1s per quarter extra for postage. Subscribers are charged only from the line commencing.   The quarters end on the 31st march, 30 June, 30th September and 31st December at which periods only can subscribers decline, by giving one week's previous notice in writing, direct to the office and not otherwise and paying the amount due to the end of the current quarter, but new subscribers will be received at any time and charged from the period at which they commence.
