Donlllqulh. Mi'. Robert Scobie the Labor nominee for the Miirrav elector ate, has been laid ud for the past few weeks with an attack 'of arthritic rheumatism. His doc tor forbade him engaging in an election campaign, and in conse quence he has been_ unable to leave Sydney. Mr. Scobie hopes to be able to leave for Hay, the chief centre, on Sunday next. ANGLICAN CHURCH. RIcorina Diocese. The two parishes of Broken Hill have agreed to amalgamate so that the whole- city will be worked as one parish. The Bishop has appointed Rev. A. E. Frost, vicar of South Broken Hill cum Railway Town to be vicar of , Broken Hill. The new arrangement has been made with a view to establishing I a brotherhood to work the whole city. The new vicar will be head of the Brotherhood'and it will be formally inaugurated as soon as two other priests are available and are prepared to join the pro posed community. The Bishop desires that the Brotherhood shall be formed on the lines of the Brotherhood of the Good Shep herd at Dubbo. Meanwhile the -Archdeacon (Ven. Dr. Pritchard), .will assist at Broken Hill for Ad vent and Christmas. As soon as ' possible a constitution will be drawn up_, and submitted for the Bishop's; a^iroval.
