Students Question Cafeteria Services by Bud Ore Staff Writer Student and faculty dissatisfaction with RUB and Dobbins Hall cafeterias could result in a possible boycott. Talk about such action highlighted Monday night's SGA meeting. SGA president Mike Chiricuzio brought the subject of poor cafeteria services in both the RUB and Dobbins Hall up at Monday's meeting and gave a list of three courses of action that could be taken. The first will be the confronting of Robert Finley, manager of food and house service, personally to present him with a list of grievances. If no action is taken men a letter will be sent to Behrend director Irvin Kochel and Finley restating the grievances and what course of action may be taken. If both of these means fail then a boycott will take place at both ' Dobbins Hall and RUB cafeterias. A suggestion of an immediate boycott of the RUB cafeteria by Vic Kopnitsky was vetoed by Chiricuzio. "We don't want to get Finley with his back to a wall," stat...

Complaints And Pleasures! Hf._hfflfl _lfffftflffl Editorial: Random Paragraphs on becoming executive editor: Writing is an art. All too often art tends to be empty expression. It is there, it is pretty, it is nice to look at, it does nothing. Art can inform, conform, and reform. This column will serve as a forum, to discuss and solve complaints and pleasures here on campus. They should be and hopefully will be, your problems and concerns, good or bad. I will attempt, as that is all I can doattempt—to make the problems worth reading about and get the problems solved. Createconstruct-perfect art. '' Ori the commuter coffee crisis : < As of the last SGA meeting the coffee crisis alone is now too small a subject to talk about. It seems a showdown is coming between hungry students and Mr. Finley and major changes in the whole food service organization is being called for. Thanks for the letter though (buy a thermos; in the long run it's cheaper). On ecology: This will be...

Millions Die From Deadly Air Millions Die From Deadly Air. Such a headline is indeed possible at the rate man is polluting the air. Although the topic of air pollution has been stressed so many times hi the past, people still do not realize the potential danger it possesses toward all mankind. Air pollution itself is defined as: "contamination of the air by waste products from the activities of man. "Some of the more major sources of air pollution are chemical plants, iron mills, smelters, and power plants, with the number one cause being the automobile. Food Drive Next Week Well, it's Thanksgiving time and that means it's a time to be thankful for all the things that you have been provided with. But what about all the people who have nothing? Some students at Behrend have been thinking about this question and have decided to do something about it. A food drive! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, November 12,13 and 14, Behrend students along with students from Gannon, Mercyhurst and Villa Maria will be going from door to door to all the houses of Erie and Wesleyville collecting cans of food. The collection will be given to the Charities Offices in Erie who will distribute them to needy families. What can you do? They need cars and workers. Just come down to the lounge in front of the mailboxes in the RUB on any of the nights mentioned and give a hand. If you have any questions please contact Candy Bosch in 145 Perry Hall, 899-9064.
