The ledemptorist Fathers, Buchan and Favre, have just concluded two missions i in our parish, most consoling to both pas tors and people; one at lhle church of Notre Dame do BEn Port, toin aras settlement, Father John B. Gaillet, pastor; the other at Ronquillo settlement, twelve miles from the former, Father Joseph Gaillit, pastor. The first mission was opened at Buras, on the 5th, with High Mass, sung by the Rev. Pastor, followed by a sermon uby one of the Fathets, which was distinguished by that peculiar style of eloquence for which both the Fathers are remarkable. The church was crowded every day for ten days. The Fathers preached morning and evening. As usual on such occasions, the priests were busy in the confessionals.
