Tite Citizen. FRIDAY. JUXE 13. 1S79. The Guaymas Railway. Recently renewed interest is aroused on this raad. Wlio is to build it, and when will ft be done, and what is the line of occupation? are questions often put by many. We have had letters from Eastern cities making these in quiries. It seems quite certain that the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe ompany are holders of the franchise. Ths New York Minincr Journal of May 31 says: The company to construct the road from the Arizona boundary to Guay. mas, a distance of about 250 miles, has been incorporated under the laws of Massachusetts, and is called the So aora Railway Company, Limited. The A., T. and S. F. Company has its headquariers in Boston, and is evi dently composed of the men who make up the Sonora Railway Company, Limited. The word " Limited " indi cates that those who furnish the money are Englishmen. The purposes of the company are doubtless to build down the Rib Grande, via El Paso, on the most direct route to Guaymas, ...
