The above note with accompanying letters were found pinned to a coat found on the bank of the Clearwater river near the ferry slip at an early hour this morning. The note and letters were signed, L. 8. Nelson. The matter was placed In the hands of Chief of Police Musters, who Im mediately commenced a search for the body, but at the same time Insti tuted a quiet Investigation In the city to ascertain the Identity of L.
