John Randolph Tucker, the distinguished lawyer and statesman, ? died at Lexington Saturday night, aged 74 years. Mr. Tucker ranked as one of the great constitutional lawyers of America, and few men in public life were better known or more highly esteemed. He was a presidential elector 011 the Democratic ticket in 1852 and 1856.? In 1857 he was elected Attorney-Gen-eral of Virginia, to fill the unexpired term, and was re-elected in 1859 and 1803.
