" THE MURDER BY BUSHRANGERS AT BRENNAN'S. Last week we reported the murder of a carrier of the     name of Lowrie, on the Upper Billabong, on the night of   the 10th instant by bushrangers. Since our last we have been enabled to glean further particulars from one of the parties who was stuck up on the occasion re- ferred to.                 Those who were in Mr Brennan's house at the time     were the owner and his family, Mr and Mrs Gilbert, and the unfortunate man Lowrie. Young Brennan, who was outside the house, first noticed the approach of the rob bers, and ran in, telling those inside that bushrangers were coming. Those within advanced to the door, and immediately were confronted and ordered back by the robbers, who showed their firearms.
