V.F.U. OUYEN - BRANCH. Although night meetings are not popular with the farmers, there was   a splendid attendance at the ordin- ary monthly meeting of the above   branch on Saturday night. Mr. H W. Pickering presided, and a large amount of business was got through. On the confirmation of minutes, the president drew attention to a charge of disloyalty to the Union which had been leveled a him by the Producers' Co-operative Coy.   This was contained in a letter in reply in which it was stated "the     chairman of the local branch had worked and voted against the can- didate selected by the Union.'" Pearce was fined 40/ for non compliance with thk Vaccina. tion Act. Visitors to Murrayville will find a change in the M?urrayville hotel. Mr. Nicholas is the new landlord, and his experience ih Bendigo will stand him in good stead. The house has been refurnished through out, and certainly shows the licen see to be a man who not only knows I his business, but also to be one who is determined that it will not be for want of attention if customers are not satisfied. We could write a lot more but nothing could add to the reality, and that is what tells.
