Hospital Masquerade Ball. A Fan-iy Press and Masquerade Ball i promoted by Messrs. fferbcrt and Jones, lessees of the Victoria Iloll, Wyalong, for the benefit of the Hospital funds, caniO.olT with gold success on Friday | evening last. There was an attendance of some 20 couples, most of whom adhered to the standing order of fanoy I dress, and a very preliy and brilliant scene was the result. The floor was in excellent order for d-incing, and the uight being beautifully cool and clear, there was every indu:pinent (a vigor and enjoyment- for the followers of the ' merry muse.' The music, beiiig sup plied by Messrs. II. Tubman (piauol and P. Pressor (violin) was, it is need less to -say, excellent, aud the well selected programme, consisting of 27 dances and three extras, went off with out a hitch under the able management of Mr. J.
