More Wasteful Expenditure oi Money on Beads. To toe Editor. Sir, — A few months ago I had occa sion to complain in your paper of the way the Resident Engineer lavished money on the tourist road and ne glected tbe farmers' roads aroond Roliertson ; but, under the present system, I am compelled to admit that a pleasant change has bsen brought about, and the farmers' roads are be g'nniog to look &3 if Bomeone owned them once more. I for o...

Perhaps the damp, cold weathir lias had some thing to do with it ; thnre hai been ft gond deal of 6icknnss ub mt lately. Then again there is the B-rrima Jockey Club, what has become of it? Also, the Kanagaloon Racn Club— who has the right of Tattersulls in connec tion with it just now 1 Again, the Myra Vale Race Club — where is it 1 The Miltngong Recreation Club has plenty of company. Presumably there is nothing to be gained by inquiring into the reason of these sundry collapses, but if they do not ' poiut a moral ' they ' adorn a tule' — one with which so many in this district, ss elsewhere, have be come unpleasantly familiar. When ...
