GOD IS ALIVE! [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

GOD IS ALIVE! Softly I shall come -- softly I shall go My identity, my origin, to you are not known. My voice you shall hear -- a whisper in your mind. Bringing you a message from the gentle and the kind. My purpose unselfish -- my task difficult and long Merely to guide you -- prove the right from the wrong To encourage and comfort in this lifes ordeal To give you further faith -- that our God is real. "A new breed of people", their evil voices said, "You have no God -- no -- your God is dead." Leaders speak of peace -- but war is their game Taught to love their brother but hatred is their name. Their lies based on greed and hypocracy But God has said -- "all these things are tobe." Follow not their teachings and truth will survive For we his chosen people know -- truely God is alive!

WHO AM I? [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

WHO AM I? Who am I? Where did I start? Where will I end? Was I the enemy? Or was I a friend? Was there love in my heart or hate in my mind? Who was I -- in the life I left behind? Sometimes in dreams in visions I see Strange sights and sounds -- yet familiar to me. Trees and flowers - a beautiful dove Faces of people that I seem to love. Yet awake in conscious reality I ponder -- was that really me? If it was and dreams are a fact Who will I be, when again I come back?

KARMA AND REINCARNATION [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

KARMA AND REINCARNATION The beauty of life is sometimes the sorrow Of the errors of yesterday, today and tomorrow Now the beginning, a new revelation Mysteries of truth -- since the dawn of creation Life and death and the patterns thereof The living, the dying -- the hate and the love. Death, no horror, no spirit in physical chain Life, its realities -- no longer a game For as you have lived -- so you shall live again For one life isn't all -- no, this isn't the end. Death is merely -- soaring above the trees Just some rest -- a sleep with the breeze Until once again -- another chance at fame. To win or lose -- to ignore or learn To erase my mistakes when I return.

ME [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

ME My eyes are searching the blueness of the sky, My mind wanders as wisps of clouds drift by. I lie here in the softness, the greeness of the earth, I think in all this greatness, of God -- what is m/soul worth? What have I ever done to deserve another life? Have I done just one thing to end this worlds strife? I know I would change things, if I only could, I'd give this life and another, if I thought it good. To see this world at peace and all its people free, But what can I do -- I'm only one -- I'm only me. I can keep trying with kindness as my guide, And show all the people the love that is inside. And pray that God can help me and I know he Will, To keep on loving everyone -- until all hate is still. To live one's life for others -- is peace without end, To give one's life to God -- and to call every man friend.

Nixon's Secret Peace Plan Of 1968 [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

Nixon's Secret Peace Plan Of 1968 (CPS) - Richard Nixon DID have a secret peace plan in 1968. During the presidential campaign, Nixon told Richard Whalen, one of his speechwriters: "I've come to the conclusion that there's no way to win the war. But we can't say that, of course. In fact, we have to seem to say the opposite, just to keep some degree of bargaining leverage." (The quote appears in a new book by Whalen, "Catch the Falling Flag". Thanx to the Great Speckled Bird.)

Flag On Seat OK, But Check Your Local Judge . . . [Newspaper Article] — The Capitolist — 5 October 1972

Flag On Seat OK, But Check Your Local Judge . . . (CPS) -- U.S. District Judge Levin Cambell of Boston ruled recently that it is not a crime to wear a U.S. flag sewn on the seat of your pants. Judge Cambell said that there is such a widespread use of the flag on cars, jackets, sweaters, coats and elsewhere that it could not be considered a crime to wear it on pants. CambelTs ruling does not have the force of law outside of his judicial district, but at least it provides a legal precedent for at dismissing similar cases around the country.
