Pennsylvania Legislature Tlie Pennsylvania Legislature adjourned finally on the 22d inst. In the Senate, a message was received from tbe Governor, announcing that the bills to incorporate the Bank of Shamokin, Bank of Pottstown, and Lebanon Valley Bank, and tbe bills increasing the capital of the York County Bank, and the Manufacturers' and Mechanics' Bank of Philadelphia, had become laws without his signature, through lapse of time. Mr. Taggart formally resigned his post as Speaker of the Senate; and an election was then held for his successor, which resulted in the choice of D. A. Finney, the American Republican nominee. Mr. Finney took the oath of office, and delivered a Bhort address. During the Session, Governor Pollock signed eight hundred and thirty-seven Acts, and twenty-two resolutions..
