HeasonV Failure to apineciate a winnine; ball club. The McMuuy Indians have a firm Riip on first place in City League baseball. They are a full same and a half to the front ovei the defending champions ACC out of ten games they have won seven and the three losses may be civdited to oriatic b.tsc running and jx)oi fielding. Several of these victoiies consist of niasteniicces of pitch- ingone which was the 7 to 6 victory over ACC in which Bob Shelton struck out '21 men. The batting has been up to par sometimes above. Only one pitcher has been able to tame the Indians for a full game. 1 am not a person who can be tickled pink but if such thing were possible three vicloiicfc in a row over ACC would be the desired stimulus.
