The Bayswater Safe Robberies. THE ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. A GANG OF DYNAMITERS BROKEN UP. [Newspaper Article] — Reporter — 9 January 1891

The Bayswater Safe Robberies. ----:I,:-- THE ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR     TRIAL     A GANG OF DYNAMITERS   BROKEN UP. A clue has at last been found to the perpetrators of the safe robberies at the Bayswater Railway Station, which caused so much excitement in this district a short time back. The first raid was made on this station on the night of the 17th October last, when the culprits failed in their attempt to break open the safe, though they   succeeded in carrying it into a secluded spot a short distance from the office. The second attempt occurred on the night of the 26th December, when the office was opened, the safe blown open with dynamite, and its contents carried   off. So well fid the robbers manage their task that they left not a single trace behind them that would lead to their apprehension. The case was placed in the hands of Detective Wilson of the Railway Department, and, although...
