THE QUESTION OF THE HOUR . Every student in a college owes something more to his college than his tuition and the support of empty words . He is a part of the college world , and must have a certain part to play , some duty to perform in his Alma Maters advancement along one line or another . Small as his part may be , it is his , and it is his duty to perform his work . The relay carnival at Philadelphia is now little more than two weeks off , and the track meet with Dickinson will take place in about five weeks . Every man knows why we have entered into these events , but a close observer of track athletics at Gettysburg today could hardly see any reasons to warrant such action . A squad of ten or twelve men is training regularly and working systematically , and out of these are to be picked the twenty-five or thirty-five men who must make up our team for the Dickinson meet . No coach in the world could perform such a hopeless task . It is hard to understand this lack of enthusias...

The Song Book . We again feel called upon to say a few woids with reference to the College Song contest which was _inaugurated neaily two months ago .
