A MASS OF FLAMES. Freight Train Wreck at Asheville, N. C. Another Family Murder in Iowa. Sihmokin, Ph., Oct. 9. By an ex plosion in the Luke Feidlor mine shaft rill' nmn was killed and four others entombed, with no avenue of escape. Kifty-tive others have been taken out alive. One is dead. and four enclosed in the mine are certainly smothered. A disastrous 'lire is raging in Luke Fiedler colliery as a result of the carpenter's neglect. Fifty-live other workmen, who had barely escaped, were compelled to grope'their way through smoke and noxious gases to safety.
