CHICAGO, May 3. -Ernest Filer; an alledged author, who desired some "local prison color" for his forthcoming book and threw a stone througn a cigar store window In or der to cet himself sent to prison, will get his local color all right, and plenty of It, but it will be at hard labor in the workhouse. He selected a small window, expecting to pay damages and get out with a reprimand and a day or so in jail. Instead the Muni cipal Judge sent him to the stone pile for four months, with instruct ious that he be kept at hard labor. Filer put up a terrible roar.
