IXDIANAPOLIS, FED. 13, 1847.. OurTcruH. Our subscription list not having been increased to the extent that we supposed it would have been, by the reduction of the terms we proposed some eighteen months since ; and in consequence, the dulling prov ing a loss to os, caused us a few weeks since to with draw the " dollar list." We did intend to 'stick to it" till the close of tho volume ; but like the frogs in the fable, while it is sport for our subscribing friends, i "it is death to us." Then, should the good people of the State, for whom we la bor, and for whom we intend hereafter to devote more of O'lx energies and time, if possible, be pleased to exert themselves to help us, we will "give them the old chance, make or break. And we will add that if our present subscribers will each obtain two new ones...
