The Common Council of Maiyiville do ordain as follows: That from and after the publication | of this ordinabce, no person shall exhibit any show, theatrical, equestrian, or olher pcrtormance, without first najring lo the Marshal, for the Cily, a license tax as hereinafter provided, under a penalty of fiftv dollars for each violation. Theatrical or circus performances shall pay, if permanently located, fifty dollars per month; for transient performances. fit teen dollars for each.
