Hoeing, blanch ing, forcing and earthing up, and destroy ing slugs, &c., should occnpy your main attention this month. Keep the weeds under. Asparagus.-Towards the end of the month, the top-dressin' should be partly removed, and dug in "between the beds, carefully forking between the rows, so as not to damage the roots or crowns. Where the beds have not been top-dressed give some Guano watet or sprinkle the beds with a little salt, this is exceedingly beneficial for establishing plants.
