Bayliss, has almost re covered from his wound, which for tunately was very slight. Ho returns to duty on Wednesday. 'Ho was wounded at tho top of a bill after charging across a pluin with his troop,, and was under fire tbe whole time, The Boers never hit anyone until the got to tbe top of the hill.
