Nimitybelle Police Court A CASE OF INTEREST. At the Nimitybelle Police -Court on Monday, before Messrs. J. McKensey, P.M., J. Jardine and E. W. Causdell, J's.P., Joseph Silk was charged on war rant, issued at the instance of John Bly ton, of Rock Lodge, with stealing one sheep, the property of the prosecutor. Mr. E. S. Mawson (Messrs. Blaxland and Mawson) appeared for defendant. The case excited a great amount of in terest in the distiict, the following evi dence being adduced : — Senior-Constable John Brennan, sta tioned at Nimitybelle, deposed: On the 9th inst. I in company with Constable Donnelly, went to a place oil the Bem boka Road, Nimitybelle, where I saw John Blyton, sen. and Chas. Alcook hav ing about 100 sheep rounded up. Henry Clarke was also present. Blyton request ed Alcook to oatch a certain!. eher-p, which he did. Blyton then claimed the shoep aud handed it over to nie.
