INVERLOCH One of the most successful en tertainments ever held in Inver dlocl took place on Wednesday night in the hall, and took the shape of a patriotic concert and ball. Mr W. C. Watson,of Kong wak, made an ideal chairman, and in his opening patriotic remarks got hold of his audience at once. The programme was long and ex cellent, being arranged by Mrs Harrison, of Wonthaggi, assisted by artists of Wonthaggi, Korum burra, and Kongwak. The hall was beautifully decorated, and to Mr and Mrs Foote and Mrs Rigall, of Leongatha, great credit must be given for their artistic taste in a red, white, and blue scheme. At the ball excellent music was supplied by Mrs Har rison (piano), assisted by Messrs Simcox (violin) and Hoskins   (cornet). Mr Masters was a capable M.C. Much creditis due to the local ladies for the excel lent and plentiful supper they provided.
