Symons, and kicked to the south end. Nyah was much the better team, and a very friendly game resulted as above. Frtom the remarks mide by the chair man of Australian Farms Ltd. at the annual meeting, which was held.on Friday, it appeared (says the "Age") that much good work is being done by the company, and ton a purely business basis. in the direction of placing on the land in Victoria new arrivals from England and elsewhere. In moving the adoption of the report and balance. sheet the chairman, :r; H. A. Currie, said that since the date of the financial statement-3lst March -the position of the company lad im provedl as a result of further bales of land. -The 'Tresco tstate had been settled in a most satisfactory manner.
