Pumping Water from the - Creek. At the last meeting of the Numur kah Water Trust, a letter was re^ ,; -ceived from Geo. H. Glasson, Na .; thalia, asking to be allowed to take one watering (or his orchard from creek, - Coin Tuckett said complaints had been made of Mr Glasson pumping water, and it appeared that more water was being wasted than used. Mr Glasson appeared to be treating the trust's instructions with contempt. • Open drains were being used instead of pipes, and a huge quantity of water v\as thereby wasted. This should be checked, and no pumping should be allowed until specific per mission was given. Ten acres only weie being paid for, and he admitted - lie was watering 30 acres.
