HAD TERRIBLE ECZEMA . [Newspaper Article] — Ohio Farmer — 6 April 1907

HAD TERRIBLE ECZEMA . Caused Intense Suffering — Grew Worse Under Best Medical Treatment—Skin Now Smooth as Ever . Used Cuticura Remedies . Some time ago I suffered terribly with eczema , and I had the best medical attendance , but the more medicine I took the worse It seemed to get . I kept on with medicine for about five weeks until I saw the Cuticura Remedies advertised , and I at once purchased the Cuticura Soap , Cuticura Ointment , and Cuticura Resolvent , but had not the slightest hope of them curing me . After I had used the first set of the Cuticura Remedies I saw the improvement . and in just six weeks my skin was as smooth as ever . I advise any one suffering from this terrible disease to use the Cuticura Remedies . Henry J . Stelljes , 132 Spring St ., Charleston , S . C , June 12 , 1906 .

(POULTRYAND BEESI [Newspaper Article] — Ohio Farmer — 6 April 1907

(POULTRYAND BEESI SICK HENS . E . L .. R ., of Jerry s Run , W . Va „ reports his hens dying from some peculiar disease which puzzles him . He says that his flock has been laying well , but that one by one the hens are atlacked by this disease and after lingering two or three days they die . Two of them were opened as soon as they showed the symptoms , and the liver was found to be about three times as large as normal and very dark , and white and yellow lumps in it . Beside this condition one disclosed two lumps the size of goose eggs lying next to the backbone and containing many hard , limy pieces ; the other had greenish water in tue abdominal cavity and a big lump resembling in color and consistency a hard-boiled egg , lying near the back . He says further , that he feeds a mash in the morning composed of milk , table scraps and meal ; that the hens are given as much of this as they will clean up ; and that three or four bushels of screenings from a grist mill are thrown into a...
