NOTHER week , and one more term of college life will be over . _f \ The winter term is in general the hardest of the three , and to Juniors , its completion will mean that the hardest part of the course is over . It has been a term crowded full of work , and unrelieved by the athletic activity which alfords pastime in spring and fall . Yet none can deny that this term has been pleasant in more ways than one , and has been an important one in our college life . During this time the Board abolished the old system of make-ups , and instituted the cut system of absences ; it appointed a committee to devise a better form of athletic control ; the glee club took one of the most pleasant trips in its history ; Pen and Sword gave $ 75 lor a coach this spring ; the Yale-Gettysburg club donated a silver cup to stimulate endeavors in batting ; basket-ball was begun as an athletic department ; a contest for college songs was instituted ; and a movement lias been started to restore the old socie...

Kec man College Concept . Rumor has it that the Kec Mar girls are coming to Gettysburg , and are bringing their voices along . In short , that they are are going to sing to us and for us . These ladies are on a tour this week to some towns in Pcnna , and they are just gbing to do up Gettysburg on their way back to Maryland . And they are equal to the undertaking ; if you don t believe us , ask any of the seniors who were formerly of Gettysburg , now of Kee Mar . The story of the transfer of their loyalty is short but tragical . They went , once upon a time , to llagerstown . These ladies talked to them , walked with them , sang for tlien ) . The result was that the most confirmed bachelors in the crowd came back wearing a smile like a new moon . Ever since their heads have been as empty as their hearts are full . Why if one of them should die you would find Kee Mar written in their—wills ; for they are all willing to go back some day ; and thehalf will never be tolled All men who ar...
