After a stay of sev'eral days in our city tbe numbers of the Chatham Artillery, with the friends who accompanied them from Georgia., will go aboard their special train this morn ing, and set out oa their return to Savannah. We trust they have found their visit as agree able in every respect as they anticipated, and that their homeward run on the rail may be safe and pleasant. Complimentary Dinntr to tUe Chat ham Artillery. The complimentary dinner given to the Chatham Artillery yesterday at the City Ho tel was a most elegant affair, and -passed off dL-lijJitfully. The feast of reason and the flow of soul, not to mention a feast and flow of a more substantial character, continued wkk the most lively animation until a late hour in the afternoon, when cur military frieads were iu mercy pernvitted to go in pur suit ot repose from tbe fatigue of the day.
