They were taken to Sherman nnd placed in jail to awuit their prelim inary heariug before the commis sioner. Last Thuradny thoy were ar raigned before Commissioner Holt. From Mr. Cash liynutn, who ut tended the trial, we lenru that in Htibstance, the following evidence was adduced: Sotno thirteen or fourtoou coun terfeit five dollars bills were found on Smith. Ho had passed one or two. Smith had two pocket hooks; one of them was claimed by Fair child. Both had counterfeit mon ey in them.
