Arrington, the editor of the Aspermont Star headed for Shionery Lake. Before taking our departure we phoned Mr and Mrs. C. N. Poore that a couple of hungy county officers would arriye on the scene about 1 p. m., and to please hold in re- serve a piece of corn bread, a glass of buttermilk and a cold potato. We arrived on schedule time with our stomachs as empty as a hungry hobo's. They were looking for us, and we were ush ered into the dining room where we found the table loaded down with everything that was good to eat. It was a regular old fashion counti-y dinner, just like mother use to cook in the long ago.
