AT HEADQUARTERS. Comrade Thomson filled the .bill at Marx Hall, on Sunday last, with a few ' Odds and Ends.' These were of a multiplicity of subjects ranging from the abstractions of Herbert Spencar to the experiments of Galileo, and were aeaic witn in a connaentiai cnat rainer than a lecture. Commencing by finding fault with this scribe for ad vertising the entertainment incor rectly, our comrade went cn to say tbat if we wish to make any headway we mast be precise in our definitions, and he then dealt - with ' the popular conceptions of a few well worn words and phrases such as Freedom ; the Law of Equal Freedom ; Human Nature ; Educacion ; Commodity, ' and a few others.
