Oii'Tuesday last they had another child burned so severely that the shock' may yet prove fatal. The victim, a little girl of' six years, was putting chips 011 the kitchen fire, her sister o£ eight years, ueing witn ner. oome paper on me fire blazed up, nntl the child's.pinafor.e caught. She ran ' out screaming to her mother and a boy who were- milking at the time. The child was burned 011 the left arm and back and jlightly on the back of tho head and neck. Mr. Graham took the little sufferer into llowra, where Senior-Constable Jordan, who. was, at- Bowra .at the time, dressed the injuries, and Air. Hicks was sent for al, once. The child was as well as could be expected at= latest accounts.
