Whatman, of the Gilmore Hotel, from Trooper Godfrey Klein, who is serving in tho Bushmen's Contingent in South Africa : — ' You must please excuse mo for not writing to you sooner-, but I ha^.e very little time for writing, our spare time being taken up building lores and making trenches, as well as being on guard and picket duty, also patrol work, going out as far as thirty miles in a day, on the lookout for our enemy.
