ANOTHER SECRET OF BEAUTY. [Newspaper Article] — Coleraine Albion and Western Advertiser — 4 May 1914

ANOTHER SECRET OF BEAUTY. Sleep is a wonderful beautifier. No thing so rounds out hollows as sound, healthful sleep; nothing so soothes and mends irritated and bruuon nerves; nothing so restoies the tis sues of the tired body as plenty r>[ natural sleep in a well-ventilated room, and nothing is fairer and softer and more peace-like than the -lolicato Until on the cheeks of one who has just stepped out of the realm or dreams, where all things are rose-colored. A clever writer says worry Is a mor tal enemy to beauty and chaim ol manne*. This is undeniably true Worry over the inevitable Is not onh a wrinkle Inducer and a frown insul ator, but it 5s a senseless :nnl W)r.Su-ii rebellion against what cannot he help ed Worry clouds the eyes, makes the voice sharp and impatient, puis hard lines about the mouth, and de stroys repose and gentleness of man ner. Whatever is, is best. Therefore, one would best control one's feelings, and learn as soon as possible to know that bright eyes, a s...

FARMERS' ITEMS. FUTURE OF WOOL AND MEAT [Newspaper Article] — Coleraine Albion and Western Advertiser — 4 May 1914

FARMERS' ITEMS. FUTURE OF WOOL AND MEAT The outlook for wool and meat is an excellent one (report Messrs. Dalgety and Co., of Melbourne). There is a decrease in wool produc- , tion from almost every country' excepting Australasia, whilst the j world's requirements for wool con- ' tinue to expand. Whilst the Aus tralasian clip of 1913-14 shows an increase of some 200,000 bales as compared with the 1912-13 produc tion, it must be remembered that the latter clip showed a decrease of. over 300,000 bales as compared with that of the previous year, and further more, owing to the bad season which has been experienced over two-thirds of Australia ever since last shearing the coming clip is certain to show a substantial decrease. For this reason also fat stock1 should continue to sell well, but, though pastoralists have been ex periencing a bad time, except in certain districts, there is no fear of meat selling at anything like the absurd figure of 1/- per lb., as , recently forecasted in ce...
