Local & General News. The annual mee:ing of the Heales ville Shire Coun6ii ill be held on 20th inst. The scene on the bowling and lawn tennis ground waste particularly bright and lively one on Wednesday afternoon l last, the beautiful ieather inducing an unusually large nunmber of ladies and gentlemen devotee'sof the several pas times to attend the "beauty spot" of Healesville, and enjoy both the invigor ating exercise and pleasant company. Both the lawn tennis courts were con stantly engaged by merry wielders of the racquet, while on the opposite side the new croquet ground was occupied by a number of the more sedate section of the ladies present, and who appeared to heartily enjoy the game in their de t partment.
