LAWN TENNIS. The matches in connection with the tennis championships of the Hills were., started on the Woodside courts on Satur day last. Excellent entries .were, re ceived as twenty-one well nominated for the gent's singles and fourteen doubles. The' ladies' championships are also well represented. A good crowd of specta tors were present, and. very fine tennis, witnessed. Nearly allthe clubs in the hills were represented by one or more players, but regret was Jelt that no city nominations were received.
