The decision of the Supreme Court has given rise to a variety of speculations in the eastern papers . The opinion seems to be very general that the President will not carry into effect the decision . His known views in regard to the removal of the southern Indians , his refusal in numerous instances to carry into effect treaties with those Indians , and his recent declaration ? , have produced a great degree of scepticism in the public -mind in relation to his future course on this subject .
