Kern York , Aug . 3 . —Butter premiums are dead forever so far as the Xew York Mercantile exchange is concerned . By the overwhelming vote of 133 to 61 , the ballot cast at a public meeting of the Mercantile exchange Tuesday to settle the question- of whether or not an appeal would be taken from the decision of Judge Jaycox in the Martin stilt , the matter was settled positively and for all time .
