He asks in a letter recent ly received by his family if a wheat known as Blue-stem is grown in Australia.■- He says he has been harvesting a good deal of this wheat recently—in July and August—arid is informed that it is the best milling wheat known.' A daily train serves Urana, connecting with the main Southern line at The Rock. There is a daily mail from both Sydney and Melbourne. The chief industry is are farming and grazing. Population of town, 400; district. 2500. Urana is the central office of the Urana Land District, and the Land Board meet3 here periodically.
