Circular Head, {By Batch-I-OMO} Despite the numerous trips that have been made of late years to the North West Coast by "Special Correspondants", "Travelling   Representatives" etc, there is comparatively little known of what constitutes by far the greater part of certain districts. It needs no very profound political economist to dis- cover that it is impossible for township stores to exchange goods for hard cash, or even (as   is greatly too much the case) for payment after twelve months credit, unless there is hard cash to be taken, or some responsible person who has a reasonable prospect of paying, at the end of a given period, for ' goods received.
