E. Killon to consider plans for .adult education in the Riverina. It was decid ed to co-opt the services of Dr. W. A. Merrilees, a mem ber of Carathool Shire Coun cil, to prepare a letter for . despatch to the Riverina Shire Councils, requesting their co-operation in the holding of a Riverina con ference later this year. . The conference could be called under the auspices of the Shire Councils v to con sider establishment of Ta pas ?toral college in the heart of the Riverina, and also to prepare plans for the estab lishment of. a Riverina Uni versity College and for ex tension education generally. Sir, — Woolgrowers are entitl ed to have published in the Press immediately the full text of the Wool Plan, the whole Plan and nothing but the Plan. The Pres ident of the Australian Wool growers' Council (Mr. R. D. Bake well) has stated that the Summary of the Plan issued by the Minister for Commerce (Mr. McEwen) was as notable for what it. did not say, as for what it had disclosed. As the Plan is now finalised, there can be no reasons for refusing to disclose the full details. . The Summary purports to give the details of a Plan agreed on between the Governments of South Africa, New Zealand, Brit ain and Australia. The, decision was made some weeks ago by the central execu tive and became effective with the sub-branches as from ? the beginning of this month.
