EDITORIAL [Newspaper Article] — Synapse - The UCSF student newspaper — 17 October 1961
EDITORIAL Between the hours of 10 a.m. on September 22 and 10 a.m.. September 23, five woodcuts of Irving Amen disappeared from the Student Union. The woodcuts had been put on exhibit in the lobby of the Student Union and on the night of the Strugglers party were found missing. The individuals who wanted those woodcuts so badly that they took them without paying for them have done a disservice not only to the Student Union, but also to the students. A The woodcuts taken from the Student Union may be returned by leaving them anywhere on the main floor of the Union. No disciplinary action will be taken. Mr. Alexander has stated that of the 40 exhibitions of art at the Student Union, this is the first from wh...
