While Clara and Arthur Esdra, aged respectively twelve and fourteen years, children of Col. Arthur Esdra, wore walking along Railroad avenue yesterday, they were attacked -by a bulldog belonging to James lieilly. The beast flew at the "boy. when his sister Interposed, push ing the hid aside and receiving the at tack of the animal. His teeth grazed her cheek. A little water spaniel which was with the children saved them from a second attack. The little dog flew a 1 the bulldog, and was nearly torn fo pieces before it was rescued "by some nipn. Col.
