Mittagong Council,. The fortnightly meeting of the Mitta gong Municipal Council was held on Wed nesday evening last, there being present: —Aid. Westbury (Mayor), Wallis, Meal ing, Lake, and Robson. A letter was received from Ata Mo hamad, asking for some reduction in the N.J?.A. service, as he was living by him self o.n the premises for only seven days in the mpnth-—Aid. Mealing moved that Ata Mohamad be informed that he -must comply with; the regulations, and have his pan attend.ed. to once a" week.—Aid. Robson seconded-, and \yas carried. At the commence ment (if the game Bowral had their op ponents hemmed-in their own 25 for the best part of half an. hour, and several times allbut scored, but the pace being so fast Bowral, through lack of condition, were compelled to give away, and Mitta gong had the best of the game throughut.
