LARUE DISTRIBUTORS REPORT .. Gives Summary on Melon , Peacb and Tomato Situation Cincinnati . July 25 . —Up to last night the National Produce Distributing Co . reports having handled 107 cars of Justice brad cantaloupes , with a probability of their shipping a car a day during the balance of the week . In effect this firm sums up the situation on other lines as follows : Watermelon shipping this week very light . Alabama and South Georgia about finishing ; Missouri will begin about August 1 to 10 , Indiana , August 15 to 20 ; probability of a shortage during the next two weeks . Peaches : Shipments have been bunched too much ; there has been a scarcity of cars and ice in Arkansas and fruit has piled up along the railroad tracks . Arkansas crop was larger than was estimated by most people and the refrigerator people did not provide sufficient cars and ice . Similar trouble , though to a less degree , exSerlenced in Georgia .
