Talbot has moved temporarily to Los Angeles, where she will be the guest of her mother. Mrs, Warner A. Hoag entertained at luncheon Wednesday Mrs. Forence Singer of Chicago and Mrs. George Machois of Los Angeles. Mr and Mrs. W. T. Talbot, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. SANFORD JOINS VICTIM OF SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES Eagle Rock Has Lost Second Tcnsorial Artist \\ . George- Sanford, who lias been conducting a barber shop iu tlii- city for the past several weeks, lias come to the conclusion that the population mark of Eagle Rock is not yet high enough to justify such a luxury. Friday he gathered his belongings and bade- farewell to the community. He is now located at Avenue .39 and I'asadena avenue, next door to Eagle Rock's former cobbler. Peter herrentelli, who was the victim of similar circumstances. With the departure of Sir Sanford Eagle Rock has lost a second ((alleged) barber. Neither , however, were ipiite satisfactory. There is sufficient business in this line for an able man. but amateurs are warned not to trifle with such an intelligent lot of men as live here.

Bruce, proprietor of the Eagle Rock Drug Store*, of this city, has just received an order of S,UK> handsomely colored souvenir jiost cards with a picture of the famout Eagle Rock on them. They have been placed on sale and are selling rapidly. The view of the rock is a verygood one, excelling any previous effort. The new concrete bridge which spans Eagle Rock canyon near the foot of the mammoth conglomeration is included in the scene, here cards are the first ever published in the natural colors.
