The rain that began Thurs- day changed to snow and sleet cm Saturday mating driving hazardous but delighting the young one* who got to play in the few inche% of white stuff. Tem- peratures around the county dropped as low as 17 de- grees, and many roads and bridges were icy. Highway patrolman M.L. Bishop reported that the highway patrol in the county was called out 11 times over the weekend, and six of those calls were for accidents of varying severity.
