Tft A moat horrible railroad accident occurred on the Aransas Pass near the nterseotion of Jonea and First streols about 5 o'clock this morning. An extiu stock train whilo palling into the yard from the south collided with engine No 53 winch was making up a train of empty stock oars. A full head of steam was on to enable the train to make the run up the heavy grade and was impossible to check it in time to prevent a collision which resulted in the death of Chas. Hilbort temporarily employed as fireman and seriously injirirg El.
