THE WYLIE NEWS Tboraday, December 20, 1956 Christmas Cantata Presented To Large Crowd Sunday Eve The Christmas cantata, "Good Tidings of Joy," was presented Sunday evening to a large crowd at the Wylie Methodist Church. The vesper service was held at 5 o'clock. The Youth Choir opened the service with a medley of carols, followed by the cantata, which featured numerous solos, duets, as well as the full chorus of fifteen voices. Lee Burch directed the can- tata and Mrs. J. E. Bowden was organist. WEEKLY S.S. Seems that we are able to recapture each year much of the enjoyment of those early years simply by exposing our- selves to the children round- about us each Christmas Eve, date of Santa's annual visit.
